Mental Coaching with Hazel Findlay
In a nourishing environment we experimented the area just out of our comfort zone and brought our climbing to the next level. With only ourselves at the steering wheel of this inspiring process we learned how to build up falling, gaining confidence and breaking the patterns of anxiety performance. Each of us in our own way, at our own pace. Challenged, not stressed.
It was exactly that pressure-free approach that made the magic happen. No matter the grade nor the experience, everyone was cheering each other up that line.
Daily yoga classes and feldenkrais by Eileen Jubes
A morning session to activate our bodies for the climbing on the amazing roof terrace of Nannai Climbing Home. An evening session to decompress and relax after climbing. The body awareness was a perfect tool for the mental training.
How to train by Nat from SteelfingersA training session in small groups, adapting exercises to everyone’s personal needs.
It was the moment to ask what you had always wanted to ask about preparing your body for climbing.
EAT – SLEEP – CLIMB
Together with 20 women we shared meals, climbing sessions and cosy chats on the rooftop. This day-to-day sharing was the icing on the cake. Exchanging experiences and just simply hanging out between the activities offered made us feel at home in this beautiful climbing home and charming village.
I want to join!
The festival will encourage climbers locally and internationally to come together and climb in an unintimidating environment. Our ambition is to empower women with confidence, skill, knowledge and motivation and create a strong female climbing community.
This is not a course nor a climbing camp where you can learn the basics of rock climbing. We expect our members to be able to lead climb 6a and belay lead climbers safely. This is important to get the best out of the week and guarantee a safe environment to gradually move the limits we so often impose on ourselves.
